APPLE. FENNEL & CUMIN

This (low ABV) cocktail was inspired by a roast chicken dish my wife made using apple sauce, fennel and cumin as the marinade.

Here is the cocktail version:
1 1/2 oz finocchietto (fennel liqueur) - from @donciccioefigli
1/2 oz Chai Pear Element Shrub
1/2 oz cumin simple syrup

Cumin simple syrup:
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup water
• 1 tsp cumin powder

Heat the sugar and water together in a small pot until the sugar dissolves. Add the cumin and let it sit for 5-10 minutes. Strain and chill.
